LDS - LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM

LDS - LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM. SAFETY FOR YOUR HOME
Avoid domestic flooding with LDS, the monitoring system for your plumbing, capable of detecting leaks and abnormal consumption of water.

The LDS system was created to prevent domestic leaks. Its installation is simple and can be carried out by your local plumber.

The leak detection system is an innovative system for detecting leaks which is able to monitor the presence of leakage or accidental discharges of water in the absence of users. The system does not just indicate the small losses that are detected downstream of the meter, but actively stops the flow of water.

In addition, LDS not only prevents damage from flooding, but monitors the installation, an important feature for everyone who has a garden, giving the possibility of detecting leakage into the ground and thus avoiding the unnecessary wastage of water, an increasingly precious resource. The components of the system communicate with each other via the 220V home network, using technology that allows fast and easy installation of the system. LDS notifies the user via audible acoustic alerts and/or by sending an SMS.

FEATURES OF THE SYSTEM:
The system developed by Enolgas is fully automatic and offers a wide range of benefits:
  • it identifies the abnormal consumption of water;
  • it prevents domestic flooding and damage;
  • it prevents the improper consumption of water;
  • it monitors the plumbing operation.

HOW THE LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM WORKS
Illustration of home assembly.
LDS (leak detection system) consists of a hydraulic unit and a touch screen display that functions as a user interface. This system is able to independently manage a series of safety measures depending on the level of abnormality ranging from simple acoustic signalling to the interruption of the water supply flow.

The system can also send phone messages or SMS, indicating the problem detected and any stopping of the flow. Some of the main advantages include:

  • speed of installation: the system can be installed in a short time without the need for masonry work;
  • the elements of the system communicate through radio waves and a pulse system that take advantage of the electrical system of the home;
  • LDS is a modular system that allows various configurations according to different needs. The system is also open and can be integrated at a later date.
