TENAX - SAPHIR
Tenax and Saphir: heavy valves for severe applications
The TENAX and SAPHIR series consists of two lines of threaded steel ball valves. Made in micro-fusion,
they are heavy valves, suitable for severe applications and do not require any special maintenance after their installation.
Equipped with an upper seal consisting of an O-Ring and a PTFE ring, they have a manoeuvre
extremely soft and a high sealing capacity up to very high pressures (100 bar for sizes up to ½ ");
the lateral seal between the body and the ball is in PTFE.
Versions with lateral seals in composite materials (carbo-graphite, fiberglass) and with NPT thread are on request. The series is available in AISI316 stainless steel from ¼” up to 2”.
The SAPHIR series differs in the polishing of the material. All valves are tested and verified before sale and are guaranteed for 2 years.
